1. What kind of alcohol do you prefer to drink ? If you don't drink, which beverage do you drink in bar ?

Four years ago, I loved drinking, so I drank two or three times a week. At that time, I drank soju, a common liquor and sometimes I drank makgeolli a fermented liquor. I stopped drinking four years ago, and now I don't drink. I usually drink coke or cider as a drink. I miss the days when I used to drink. It was cool to talk about life with friends under the influence of alcohol

3. Is there social pressure to drink in your culture ? How do you feel about this pressure ?

When I joined the company as a new employees, I had to drink alcohol as a custom. If my senior offered me a drink, I had to take a drink. If they refused to drink, it also meant rejecting the boss's loyalty. With the introduction of the annual salary system from the monthly salary system starting with IMF, collectivism has turned into individualism. The relationship between employees has also become estanged as it has changed to performance-oriented rather than seniority. In the meanwhile, the alcohol given by the senior became an option due to individualism

 

4. Does alcohol help people to get to know each other ? How ?

Alcohol seems to have the effect of getting close by drinking even if they don't know each other. Perhaps when we drink, we change from pretention to hoesty and say what we think in our heart. Alcohol is a narcotic character that makes us feel better and relaxed. Therefore, we can relax and have a pleasant conversation, which increases intimacy

 

5. In the USA, you can't drink alcohol on the street or in the park, How do you think about it ?

I can personally think of it as excessive regulation. I think drinking alcohol is free, but I think I should be held responsible only if harms society or others according. Of course, in the USA, the gap between the rich and the poor is wide and there are many low income people such as black people who spend their time drinking, so the USA prevent it in advance. These regulations can be expressed differently depending on social characteristics

 

6. Could you date someone who drinks everyday ? vs Could you date someone who never drinks ?

It's burdensome to date a woman who drinks every day when I used to like drinking, a woman had to drink to a certain extent to date. I think the atmosphere of dating gets bettle through alcohol. I don't think now. so it's okay for a girl on a date not to drink. When I like drinking, I like emotional conversation, but since I don't drink, I can only have rational conversations

 

7. Do you think drinking can be a hobby ?

There was a time four years ago when I thought drinking was my hobby. At that time, drinking become a habit, so I drank about three times a week. At that time I thought a week wouldn't pass if I didn't drink. Drinking was as familiar as a hobby. But now I don't drink because I quit drinking. Instead of alcohol, I am close to books, so I am working hard on humanities blog activities

 

8. Have you ever blacked out ? What happende ?

Ten years ago, I drank a lot because I felt good at a year-end party with my friends. Others friends went to the 2nd beer house and 3rd karaoke while drinking happily. After singing, I took a taxi home, but I couldn't remember and I didn't know how to get home. The next day, I asked my wife about yesterday and she said that I came in reeling under the influence of alcohol. I really don't remember yesterday when I drank and the film was cut off

 

9. If people do bad things while drinking, should we blame the alcohol or the person ?

It can be entirely the responsibity of a drunkard to do bad things while drinking. If they have the freedom to drink, they are responsible gor the damage to others by drinking. Of course the state can state its primary responsibity for alcohol. So the state strictly controls the sale of alcohol to teenagers

 

10. Do you know what DUI is ? what's a suitable punishment for someone who drinks and drives ?

Drunk driving is considered a serious crime and is strictly punished. Drunk driving is suspended or revoked depending on the alcohol concentration, and criminal punishment is also imposed if the other party is injured. In some cases, drunk driving takes the lives of a family, so it should be dealt with according to strict standards
