(theme-18, 8) Let's talk about friends

1. Do you have any childhood friendships that are strong untill today ? Describe about them

I spent time hanging out with my local friends before I entered elementary school. Especially, I played soccer and baseball with my local friends. We used to spend all day playing sports. I met my local friends sometimes before Covid-19. We can't meet these days, so we only cherish the longing and reminisce about those days. I want to visit the place where I played soccer in alley sometime

 

2. Who is your first international friends ? How do you keep in touch with them ? How often do you see or meet them ?

My first international friend was in Venice, Italy. Venice called a water city was unique to me by train from Rome. I enjoyed the city riding a gondola representing Venice. I looked around Venice during the day and met my Italian friend in the evening. We talked about Venice, youth and Italian culture while drinking beer cans. It was a short time, but I was impressed by the stars in Venice's night sky

 

3. How would you solve the problem that your friend borrowed your money but doesn't pay back ?

It's not easy to talk about money to a friend. I'm careful not to hurt my friendship because of meney. However if a friend  borrows money and doesn't pay it back. It needs to be mentioned indirectly and not offended. My friend may have forgotten that he borrowed money or he may not be able to give it to me because of finacial difficulties. The former is fine but the latter is even more embarrassing. So I asked my friends to lend me money assuming that I wouldn't receive it within my ecomonic circumstances

 

4. What's your unforgettable epic moments that you spend with your friends ?

I had best friend during my middle school but when I came out of Samsung company and had a hard time at home. The friendship grew apart. Meanwhile I heard he was fighting a brain diease. I went on a friendship trip to Han River with him in the evening. A few months later, he went to heaven

 

5. What you did with your friends last time you met them ?

I went to Moraksan Mountain with my best friend. We started from Gyewon University and went up the mountain. On the way up, we saw many spring flowers. White, yellow and pink flowers such as cherry, forsythia and azalea bloomed on the mountain. Climbing the mountain surrounded by spring flowers made us even better. I think flowers and friendship have the same value to me

 

6. Have you made any friends over the internet ? Have you ever met them in person ?

There is an older brother who exchange humanities through a humanities blog. He watched my blog everyday and expresses his likes with his thumbs up. He lives and works in America. Originally he lived in Korea but after gratuating from Seoul National University of Technology, he immigrated to the United States. I always communicate with him with the humanities that I created with gratitude to him. Like this, the exchange of opinion on learning is like an important part of my appetite

 

7. How ar your friendships different now than they were when you were a child ?

When I was young, friendship came from a pure heart. Therefore, we has no pretense and expresses our feelings according to our feelings. So we keep those feelings for a long time and cherish each other's feelings even when we grow up. There are many incompatible things about friendship now. In other words, It's a give-and-take friendship. It's a rational friendship. We can say that as we grow up, we change from emotional friendship to rational friendship

 

8. How do you maintain a good friendship ?

In order to maintain a good friendship, It's important to be interested in that friend. I should avoid what my friend hates and share what he like with each other. I try to listen to the other person before I make a point about an opinion. Ultimately, we need to increase communcation with each other in harmony

 

9. What's your definition of Best friends ?

A best friend doesn't feel uncomfortable even if we don't talk much. A best friend speak with his heart, not with words. Therefore, silence is also a conversation between best friends. Also, the best friend doesn't put pressure on the other person and he bears it. Friendship between best friends can be a different expression of love

 

10. Do you think there is a friendship between girls and guys ?

It's hard to have a friendship between a man and a woman. but that doesn't mean it shouldn't. The title of the song was Between love and friendship. In this song, a man and a woman go back and forth between love and friendship, and eventually he leaves because they can't make love. Like this, a man looks at a woman in a friendship and at some point he feels that it is love. I think that love and friendship are just differences between opposite sex and same sex, but the meaning is the same
