1. What is a fad ? Do you pay attention to it ?

When I was in college, I wore a jean jacket and pants. I used to go to school wearing only those clothes for over a week. I think jeans are a symbol of youth and freedom. Jeans were originally designed to make tough clothes for miners. That's how Levi's was born. Even at the age of middle age, I enjoy wearing it to feel the youth of college

 

2. What were some fads when you were in high school ?

To be honest, I spent my high school days without feeling the romance of school. I didn't think about the trend at the time. But at that time, Lee Mun-se's radio program at night was popular. At the time when I was sensitive that it was a star-hearing night, it came as a ray of romance. The music and comments appropriate to adolescent sensitivity made me feel young

 

3. What are some fads now ?

4. Why do you think people pay attention to fads ?

I personally think that I should keep up with the popular trend to be evaluated as a present person living in the present. We consume various culture such as clothes, food and songs suitable for that time. After a while, it disappeared again and is produced after recreation

 

5. What fad influenced your life the most ?

I am fashiable about food and clothes. I'm always interested in eating healthy food. Avocado is a healthy food these days, and the public is very interested in this food. Since I am middle-aged, food is important and is directly related to health

 

6. How do fads start and who starts them ? today ? in the past ?

I think the person who predicts and leads the future produce fads clothes or various items in a experimental spirit. A few weeks ago, I saw a surprising scene at a fashion show in paris. A woman came out naked, and an offical sprayed on her body, and after a while, she was dressed. It's expected to lead the trend with the innovative work that lead the future

7. What are the current trends in fashion, electronics, music, books or movie ?

The fashion of clothes these days is thought to have changed the shape of clothes due to the economic recession. In particular length of women's clothes has been lengthened and width has been widened. When the economy was booming, short clothes such as miniskirt were the trend for women's clothes The fashion of women's clothing seems to be closely related to the economic trend

8 What are the current trends in dating or being in a relationship ?

A few months ago, violent dates were in vogue when it came to dating. It's caused by the fact that the dating person, especially the man, has become violent and desire for sex has grown. In the past, when dating, people met woman in excitement, but due to the development of individual capitalism, people had a lot of personal problems

9. Are there any current trends you don't like ?

I may be old, but I feel bad when I listen to a song that contains a lot of English without a clear sense of subjectivity. Most of the popular songs these days are songs that are half English. I doubt we're singing against an American. It's a problem even if it's too out of the current, but even songs that are sung without self-reliance are falling into cultural historicalism

 

10. Are there any trends from the past you hope would come back ?

I want to preserve our own traditions and promote the excellence of the korean people. Therefore, we should pay much attention to bringing popularization by wearing our traditional hanbok and to studying korean language. We are immersed in the past, China and then Japan and now in American cultural history  We must find ourself in the future
