1. If you had to give up one of these things, What would it be : money, a good boss and coworkers or work-life balance ? why ?
All of them seem to be important. I think about my values before I choose to give up out of the four at work. I personally want work and life to be properly balanced in a homonious atmosphere rather than economic idea. I think human beings and life are important, but money is the next important thing
2. What do you think about office romance ? Are you for or against it ?
I am not against office romance. Dating is natural and doesn't seem to be something that can be suppressed anytime, anywhere. It is freedom and a natural feeling. The only concern is excessive affection in the company. Dating is noble but it is necessary to restrain it to the extent that it doesn't harm others
3. Can you describe your current job ?
I work at the Seoul Small and Medium Venture Business administration. My department is a growth support department. I mainly do finacial work such as policy funds, corporate guarantees and women's companies support. A tricky part of my work is checking females companies. There are many complaints in this work, so logical response is important. I minimize the occurence of complaints by expediting the handling of women's business with one day system
4. What do you like most about your job ?
One or two annual funding sessions are most rewarding. The Korea SMEs and Startups Agency and the Korea Technology Credit Guarantee would gathered together to consult a lot of companies with difficulties in policy funds. Three organizations gathered in the video conference room to discuss difficulties in funding and guarantees along with policy explanations
5. In your job. What annoys you the most ?
What bothers me the most in my work is filing complaints and arguing. In particular, Checking women's companies is a job that has a lot of complaints. If it is recognized as a female company, it's a sensitive part of from the corporate side as there are additional points in the government bidding project. When the husband is the actual boss and the woman does incidental work, she usually files complaints
6. Name three occupations that you would love to do and three you could never do ?
The first job I want to do is a professor, a writer and third is a poet. What these three jobs have in common is to do research on learning or society or to teach students. The jobs I don't like to do are bankers, althletes. These which seem to be simple numbers and related to the body are inherently out of place
7. What was your first ever job ?
Before I become a civil servant, I worked for a large company. I spent nearly four years there before the IMF burst. At first I was in charge of recruiting personnel and after 2 years. I moved to the legal team. As the IMF showed signs, I moved to Samsung Installment Finance and did audit work. The audit team went around each branch to conduct a self audit and I left Samsung because I had a different intention
8. Have you ever seriously wanted to quit your job ? If you have, when was it and what triggered you ?
My personality is that I can focus on my job more comfortably than trying to get promoted in the midst of fierce competition at a large company. So I chose a public official because I thought I could not be a professor or a teacher. The difference between employees of large company and public officials lies in the age of promotion and retirement age. In short, public officials are legally guaranteed status, so all they have to do is work hard on their own work
9. Do you have a part-time job ? If so, what do you do ?
After passing the civil service exam, I did two part-time work to help the family as the head of the household. I did a personnel car wash in Mokdong, but it's not easy to endure with a lot of nagging. The other was hard labor, which was physically demanding because there were heavy loads being carried or broken at the construction site. Human labor seems to be either mentally or physically
10. What is your ultimate dream in life ? Are you doing anything specific to achieve that dream ?
My ultimate dream is to establish an English humanities academy. Now, I am studying humanities through the humanities blog and I aslo go to an English meeting on weekends to study English. There are five years left until retirement as a civil servant so during that period, I will focus on studying humanities and English to give dreams and hopes to young people. My ultimate goal is to pursue academic research and become an educator
